QUESTION: When I was kid, sometimes when I get sick, I would ask my parent to blow on me as I thought that’s what should be done when get sick as they did it on me before without asking. I didn’t have the proper understanding of religion let alone that Hadith. But after I came to know about it, I don’t intend to blow by anyone. ANSWER:

Yes, as long as you don’t ask others for ruqya now, you will be in sha Allah included in the hadith.

QUESTION: Can I ask someone to have blow on things which are used in ruqyah? Can I have blow from another person reciting long surah from Quran on water, oil etc. for using in ruqyah process for myself? The blow is not directly on myself from another person. But, on those things which are used in ruqyah process. I didn’t want to ask someone to do ruqyah on myself, as I heard getting ruqyah from others is disliked. But is it asking ruqya from others?
