It should be the Quran in Arabic text to gain the prescribed reward. The translation is not Quran but rather a translation of the meaning. 

QUESTION: We know that it is recommended to recite The Quran everyday. Can we recite the translation of the quran in our languages? Or do we have to recite the quran in arabic?
