ANSWER:

Masturbation is haram and its transgression against Allah ! Who in his right mind would even suggest that they do such a heinous act at night so that they would not break their fast? Why not also allow fornicators to commit zina at night so that they wouldn’t do it at day time? The same goes for consuming drugs and intoxicants! 

QUESTION: Some of the brothers are struggling with addiction of masturbation during ramadan. The question is, should they strive in jihadu-nafs and risk breaking their fast with masturbation which may be a common occurance, or is it better to premptively masturbate in the night so that their fasting can remain intact.
