ANSWER:

Once you instill solid Islamic values in your children from an early age, in sha Allah they will apply that in their future lives as well. 

You must make lots of dua to keep them steadfast.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I’ve become a practicing muslim & intend to provide islamic education to my 2 children. But after high school or similar institutions, there is no islamic university in our country. They’ll have to study in a mixed environment then for higher studies. I believe it would be disastrous for their imaan & akhlaq. What should I do to protect them as a father? Pls advise.

QUESTION: I was wondering if we could rely upon scholar ibn Taymiyyah’s statement that it’s the fathers’s choice to name his children if he and his wife are in dispute as he didn’t mention the evidence to this from either Qur’an or Hadith?
