ANSWER:

Parents are sinful for this & children must not obey their parents in this regard as there’s no pleasing or obedience to anyone at the cost of displeasing and disobedience to Allah 

QUESTION: Sheikh is it permissible for children to disobey their parents when they tell their children in Ramadan “Dont fast because you have school and exams…..you will feel thirsty”. This is done by many parents in India. What’s the ruling on this?
