ANSWER:

The maximum you can breastfeed the baby is 2 and a half years (hijri calendar) for both girls and boys. 

QUESTION: My MIL says its haraam to breast feed the child after 2 years and if fed the child might get some mental disorders. May i know if there is any such restriction mentioned in the Quraan or the Sunnah?

QUESTION: I have a 4 month old baby. He wakes up every 2-2.5 hours at night to eat.
