It’s  all his children’s responsibility to take care of his financial needs if he doesn’t sell the plots.

QUESTION: My father has been retired for 15 years and is too old to work. He does not have any pension or monthly income and he also does not have any bank balance. But he owns two plots. Is it my responsibility to provide for him or since he has plots so he has to take care of himself by selling those plots. He has kept those plots for his children.

QUESTION: I have heard of committing shirk due to ignorance can be excused and the knowledge is with Allah to know if a person is truly ignorant or has understood but rejects it. I explained shirk to my parents but they do not believe it is shirk to ask highly regarded people (who are not alive anymore) such as the ahlul bayt for help. QUESTION: My father consumes Alcohol on a daily basis. My mother and we (3) siblings tried so many times to make him understand that it is haram.
