ANSWER:

Shaving the pubic area & cutting nails has nothing to do with purity or ghusul as they are separate things. 

Removing pubic and armpit hair & cutting nails has nothing to do with ghusl after menses.

QUESTION: Is it necessary to cut nails and shave after our periods have ended and before the ghusl? What is the ruling?
