ANSWER:

There is no inflating of satan’s ego at all! This is his job description and he pledged to divert us from the straight path and to lure us to hellfire and this is what he is doing in reality. 

QUESTION: In Surah kahf verse 63, one of the lines translate to “Indeed, I forgot the fish. And none made me forget it except the Satan-” I thought we weren’t supposed to blame Satan for anything? Cause it increases him in ego and rather we should praise Allah so he shrinks? Doesn’t that statement inflate his ego? I do not ask in Arrogance or to dispute the Quran, I’m asking for understanding purposes.
