You must join the congregation in the masjid as long as they pray within the allocated time. Try to look for a masjid that follows the sunnah to pray with them

QUESTION: In our masjid fajr adhan is not when the break of dawn is. For example if the break of dawn is 5:25 and the sunrise is 6:55 our fajr adhan is about 6:15. I want to know is it better to pray alone when the break of dawn is or to pray with congregation much later? And if i pray fard alone in the beginning of the time can I be imam of the congregation later?
