What your father has said is totally wrong!

It’s highly recommended to keep the balance between left & right side of imam but if it’s not kept, this is going against the highly recommended sunnah but this does not invalidate the prayer 

QUESTION: In my masjid there is imbalance in the rows. I mean there are 8 men on left side and 15 men on the right side from the imam. My father stops me from joining the row where there is imbalance and calls my prayer null if I join prayer on that side. Is my prayer null or can I join the row where there is imbalance?

QUESTION: I live in india,in the masjid, most people follow hanafi, usually don’t pray feet-to-feet leaving small gaps,when joining the congregation, I sometimes find small spots on the extreme sides. I avoid these spots as they are too small, and most probably people won’t move during salah, if i tap them on their shoulders. If I join the second row or form a second row if it’s not there, Is this correct?

QUESTION: It’s said if u are intoxicated, your prayers aren’t accepted for 40 days. How does this work? Say if u get intoxicated once, then after 20 days u get intoxicated again, will the punishment days add on and your prayers won’t be accepted for the next 20+40 days OR will the punishment reset to 40 days?
