Someone who did this major sin twice in 3 weeks, surely he doesn’t care about his prayers whether it is not accepted for 40, 60 or 80 days !

 

QUESTION: It’s said if u are intoxicated, your prayers aren’t accepted for 40 days. How does this work? Say if u get intoxicated once, then after 20 days u get intoxicated again, will the punishment days add on and your prayers won’t be accepted for the next 20+40 days OR will the punishment reset to 40 days?
