Such property is an investment and must be evaluated every year as it is and zakat is given on such an estimate until it is sold.

QUESTION: Can you please help me with a question about Zakat? I have 300gm of gold, which is above the nisab, and I can’t pay Zakat at the moment. Can I gift this gold to my children aged 5, 11, and 17? I saw on a website that it’s possible if they have full control over it. Can you explain what “full control” means? Also, do I need to physically give the gold to them, or can I keep it in my locker?
