No problem if the husband gives his wife’s zakat out of love and compassion (when she authorises him).

If he’s not going to pay it on your behalf, you must pay it immediately by selling some of the gold if you don’t have cash. Few days after eid won’t matter. 

QUESTION: I hv alwys seen my fathr pay my mothr’s gold zakat diligently. I didn’t knw b4 dt wife is sinful. My hsbnd hs paid zakat 4 last fw yrs. Ds yr i kept remnding him.
