Of course she is sinful.

You must teach and empower your son to refuse to celebrate his birthday or ask to have him visit you that day so that you can keep him away from imitating the disbelievers. However, if she has full custody over him and you can’t control that, there is no sin on you. 

QUESTION: I divorced my ex few years ago we have son who’s 8. Every year he gets his birthday celebrated which I tell him not to do. Some say he’s too young to understand and tell me to take it easy. But is his mum not sinful to let this happen? And what can I do in this situation. Please advice

QUESTION: I have 2 boys (5,3years) and they always Slept with us in our room and our bed space. We never let them sleep separately . But now, as they are growing, they cry and shout if they see we spouse together(hugging or sitting close). What’s the age the kids should sleep separately by Islam?
