ANSWER:

If they are independent & self sufficient then you don’t have to obey them and if they need assistance then you can provide them a maid to look after their needs

QUESTION: I am an only son to my parents, married and working in gulf. My parents forcing me to quit working abroad and stay with them in my home country as they r aging n just retired. They also quote a hadith about parents right to stop their children from going to jung. But I don’t have job opportunity in my home town to provide sufficiently for my wife n children. Whom should I choose in this situation?

QUESTION: Father and brother bought me a phone and gave my old one to my mother saying that he bought both of us new phones. I did not know they were doing this or else i would have said no to getting a phone to myself. I told my mother after they had done all of this that they lied to you. QUESTION: My friend is working abroad but hasn’t been able to take his wife (married since a year) with him bcos he keeps sending money to his parents. What should be his priority in this case? Should he stop sending money and save that to bring his wife or let his wife stay away from him & keep supporting his dad who’s already earning (but less)?
