If he beats you, you need to get your father and brother involved so that he knows you have men to protect you when needed. If he doesn’t stop, such an abusive husband must be deterred even if by threatening him to call the police. 

QUESTION: How can a wife get her husband discplined who physically abuses her. She DOESN’T want divorce because she has kids but at the same time really wants her husband to be disciplined. Can she take him to qadi who will discipline him on her behalf?
