QUESTION: If a man has committed a major sin such as zina in the past, but now claims to have changed and sincerely repented, is it truly possible that he will not fall into the same sin again? And from both a religious and emotional perspective, is it wise or safe for a woman to marry a man with such a past? I’ve heard some people say that someone who has committed such a sin once is likely to repeat it.
