QUESTION: Can mother kick out adult abusive son? I am single 70 year old mother. My son, 48, is single and unemployed. He moved in with me about a year ago. He has mood swings, questions Islam and is verbally & emotionally abusive to me. He refuses to see a sheikh or a doctor. Is it haram if I kick him out ?

QUESTION: Where does it say in the Qur’an and authentic ahadeeth that we cannot defend ourselves or clarify things against our parents, if/when THEY are wrong? You said to admit and say “I am wrong”, even when we are right. Wouldn’t that be lying as well?
