QUESTION: Where does it say in the Qur’an and authentic ahadeeth that we cannot defend ourselves or clarify things against our parents, if/when THEY are wrong? You said to admit and say “I am wrong”, even when we are right. Wouldn’t that be lying as well? I understand not disrespecting part but where do you or the scholars get not defending ourselves and just be silent part? Where is the daleel?
