It is not kufr but it is not permissible to hangout with a disbeliever that makes fun or Allah or mocks the religion! 

If he were to call your mother a prostitute, would you still hang out with him?

QUESTION: Apologies for reasking question due to my poor wording. My friend insulted Allah and mocks Islam, you told me he commited kufr which I am aware of. I hate what he said and when he mocks Islam I try to get out of the situation. We sit next to eachother in school and my question is if hanging out with him during the break or in class is kufr on my side.
