QUESTION: A family festival is about to be held in my uncle’s house this Friday and most of the time there is segregation but none of the women wear hijab and non mahrams might to talk to to each other and crack jokes with each other…can I go to this place and only sir with my mahrams and not speak to any non mahrams but if they say Salam I reply with Salam by looking down,is this permissible for me?
