If you have the option whether to take it or not, you must not take it.

But if they give it to you against your will, you can dispose of it in means of charity.

In India all the banks are interest based. We have two options regarding the interest. 1. Let the bank take the interest . 2. Take interest from the Bank and help Muslims (relatives and needy persons) in need without expecting a reward.
