My question is regarding seher timing,if we want to keep a voulantry fast and sehr is just optional when does the sehr time end?Does it end before the fajir time? Or much before ? I live in England and in the summer days seher time can be at 2 am while we pray fajir later on.

It is the time of Athan of Fajr!

My wife couldn’t complete all fasts last Ramadan due to her pregnancy & still now many fasts are due. Now she is lactating & not able to complete pending fasts. 1- is it necessary to complete all fasts before next Ramadan or can she fast later (after completing fast of coming Ramadan)? 2-Is she eligible to pay Fidya instead of fasting (considering she is otherwise healthy)?

She is not eligible to pay fidya, as being pregnant and to breastfeed is not an incurable disease. She must make them up as soon as possible.

What is a kaffarah for leaving obligatory fast

You must first repent to Allah for leaving an obligatory fast without a valid reason, as this is a major sin. Then you have to make up the missed days. But if you had intercourse while breaking a day of Ramadan, this is a different story.

In my kids school,we have a collection of packs for suhoor ,for the support staff.It is arranged voluntarily by mothers & distributed by Islamic department children along with parents(mostly mothers, as fathers are at work).It is a non-Muslim school & we take this as an opportunity to demonstrate the charity spirit of Islam to the school.Is it counted as a good deed for mums?

I have something that keeps on bothering me about last year Fasting (Ramadan)immediately after Ramadan I got pregnant I’m now 6months pregnant and I have to pay 6 fasting right now I can leave without eating like 5 to 6 time’s a day please sheikh help how I’m I going to pay it back and X6 my EDD is on this coming Ramadan insha Allah

You should make up for these missed days once you are able to fast even if this is few years from now if you were prevented due to pregnancy and breastfeeding etc.

I was pregnant last year…. So I didn’t fast the whole month of Ramadan, I want to make up my those missed fast even now my baby is just 3 months old and I am breastfeeding him, so can I fast once or twice a week , how will I secreat milk if I don’t eat food … Please advise me as soon as possible… Awaiting for your answer!

If fasting won’t affect your milk, it is highly recommended to make up for these missed days asap.

Last Ramadan some members could not Fast at all due to various family oppression. For the sake of Allah, We will be leaving the house and living another place in two or three months. Meanwhile we pray and do dhikr, my question is that due to our not being able to fast will it anger Allah and He will not accept current our dhikrs and duas. N.B. We cannot fast now at all.

Your thikr, Duaa and prayer are accepted! However, I can’t imagine a legitimate reason that justifies not fasting Ramadan unless they have a gun pointed at your head unless you eat!

I have missed many fasts in my school and college days as i was finding it difficult to do so having classes. How can i compensate for these fasts missed over 12 years ?

You have to calculate them and add a couple of days to be on the safe side and fast them bit by bit.
