ANSWER:

No problem in making such duaa though it is better to ask Allah for al a’afiah.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to ask Allah not to test me with certain things? for example my father used to cheat on my mother so can I ask Allah not to test me through this again?

QUESTION: There is hadith narrated by Ummu Salamah(Ra.) about dua of calamity where she said the dua after her husband died and she was married to the Prophet.Now if someone’s wife died few years ago and he didn’t say the dua at that time but now he wants to say it,can he say the dua now?or the time has passed?
