QUESTION: Sheikh, if someone works in a pharmacy and has to deal with customers, is he permitted to look at non-mahram female customers when they enter the shop to purchase medicine? Would this be comparable to working in a shop where customers purchase items such as pens, as the worker may need to recognise them if they later return to request a refund?
