QUESTION: I have a genuine concern. I’m a medical student and also try to share what I learn of deen. But I struggle academically, and this makes me question whether I should be a daa’i. I worry that people may think, “She’s so into religion, but doesn’t even do well in medicine,” and that I’m misrepresenting deen. How should I understand and deal with this?
