ANSWER:

You must advise your parents that they must not cheat people like this as they wouldn’t accept someone like your brother if he were to propose to their daughter.

QUESTION: We know that if a wali of a women is not present her marriage is not valid, but what if she does not speak anymore with her father and has no parental uncles etc. The imam has to be the wali right? But is his prsence in the nikkah sufficient or must he act like a wali doing things like doing a background check on the men etc?

QUESTION: Sheikh my muslim grandmother asked me to dial a number for her. When I asked who it is she said its an astrologer. I just made an ambiguous excuse that the number can’t be called but didnt tell her that it was shirk to call astrologers and seek help from them. Is this kufr? I dont feel mightve been a good idea to tell her off.
