QUESTION: Is it compulsory to buy new clothes for Eid every year if I can afford them but not buying helps financially as a middleclass person? I’ve barely worn wedding outfits & wear an abaya so they’re rarely used Can I use those instead? I heard one must buy new clothes unless they absolutely can’t afford them is it right?

QUESTION: I found a small pouch in my father’s car that seems to contain soil or sand. He believes it offers protection for him or the car — essentially, it appears to be a taweez. Would it be permissible for me to discreetly empty the contents and replace them with regular soil, so that he doesn’t notice the change?
