ANSWER:

Best is to give them cooked food (a similar meal that you have normally), however, no problem in giving them uncooked food as well.

You can buy them (10 poor muslims) 1.25 kg of rice each or buy new clothes for them.

QUESTION: I am giving my expiation to an orphanage. Can I give a cup of uncooked rice and canned sardines as expiation or shirts, hijabs, and dresses if I decide to clothe 10 people, which are kids since kids are mostly the only ones who can fit in my size clothing, or give the clothes of my mother which she has agreed to give as expiation for me or does it need to be my own clothes?

QUESTION: A person isnt sure how many oaths they broke. They made an oath about not doing something but broke it, then took the same oath and broke it again. Other oaths were about past, i.e. they said/texted “by Allah I didn’t say/do this”, but they don’t remember if they really didn’t say/do it.
