Besides, selling games would most likely include a lot of haram elements such as music and excessive violence in addition to wasting people’s time and energy over such games. 

QUESTION: You said selling on itch.io (previous question) was not permissible. What part of it makes it impermissible to use? The platform has no submission fee. The minimum amount for payout is because it is too expensive to process payments for small amounts of money. I want to make sure this is haram and not due to misunderstanding before I give up making video games for selling.
