ANSWER:

As long as your shoulders and chest has moved with laughter and people can tell that you are laughing, this invalidates your prayer.

QUESTION: If I try to pray tahhiyat al-masjid before maghrib, people object to it, saying it is ‘haram’ to pray. Somebody stopped my prayer. Should I just enter the masjid late, or sit down without praying the salah? Should I remain standing within the masjid? I ask this for when I enter upon the imam giving the jumu’ah khutbah as well. Is it true that those of the early generation did not pray during it?
