The prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam said that the earth was made for him a place of purity and prayer.

Therefore, the default is that all grounds are pure until proven otherwise. 

QUESTION: The spot of praying should be pure is a condition for the validity of prayer. My question is what is the extent that we should keep pure when we pray?From Our feet to the prostration spot or something else?
