If you started your prayer while the fard prayer was ongoing, your sunnah prayer is invalid.

QUESTION: The other day I came to the masjid and I quickly prayed the 2 sunnah and then joined the imam in ruku’ is my salah valid? Since I had the option of praying sunnah later?
