ANSWER:

The prayer is valid, however everyone should talk to the management about it as the imam should be a role model in following the sunnah and not in openly sinning like this even if he is the best in memorizing the Quran.

QUESTION: The imam of my local mosque shaves his beard. I heard that you cant let someone who shaves his beard lead prayer. Do I go to another mosque or not?
