Ghusl is valid (while alive or dead) even with braids or dreadlocks, as long as water reaches the entire scalp and from roots to tips.

QUESTION: Some say microlocs/siterlocs (small dreadlocks) are haram simply because they take far too long to be loosened upon death. Is this logic correct?
