ANSWER:

It is not permissible to recite with him the same surah. 

If they are reciting the fatiha while he is reciting his surah, this is permissible.

QUESTION: In dhuhr prayer,I joined when imam said samiallah huliman hamida of 2nd rakat.I continued with the 2 sujoods and tashahhud.Then the imam got up for his 3rd rakat.Since this 2nd rakat of imam will not be counted as my 1st,do I do raful yadain when he stands up for his 3rd rakat which will be my 1st rakat or should i do it when he finishes his salah and i standup for my 3rd rakat?
