QUESTION: Say someone who’s female identifies as m*le, therefore wants to be referred to as he/him. As a Muslim, I can’t comply with that. I also have to treat them with dignity, so how can I come to a decision that won’t affect my beliefs and won’t disrespect the person? What if someone wants to be called by they/them? Can I just always call them by their name, to avoid pronouns all together?
