ANSWER:

Zakat must be paid immediately when it’s due, you can extend it to a few days but not months like this.

You must sell some of your gold to pay off the zakat if you don’t have cash. Your husband is not obliged to pay for your zakat as this is your gold and it is your responsibility

QUESTION: My husband has paid half my zakat for gold and told he would pay the rest in the next 3 months since he doesn’t have money now so is it allowed or should the rest of the zakat money be payed immediately by borrowing money or by selling my gold?
