What these people are saying might be taken from the Hindus! Muslims don’t have any preference in regards of the design of the house except that the toilet seat must not be facing or giving one’s back to the qibla. 

QUESTION: Is there any Islamic views in buliding a new house.In our place some of the peoples are saying that we cant put bathroom here because this not the correct corner something like that.Can you please advise sunnah ways of building and entering into a new house . Also on which time we can enter this new house.In our place peoples are moving into new house after fajr salah as islamic tradition.
