ANSWER:

She should not answer that friend and pretend to be offended and tell her that chaste women are not asked such questions and that if he was interested for real, he would have proposed to her father. 

QUESTION: Is it permissible to lie if telling that truth will lead me to huge sins? Example:If a girl maintains distance from non-mahram, but secretly has feelings for a boy without communicating. If he asks to her by a friend, if she has feelings for him or not, can she lie that she doesn’t have feelings in order to prevent fitna?
