Eating horse meat is permissible however donkeys are considered to be dead meat and najis. 

QUESTION: Is eating horse and donkey halal in Islam? If it is not, please sir, give me one evidence to use when convincing my family. Bcos I have seen many hadith talking about its permissibility. Please clarify.
