ANSWER:

This is wrong of that masjid.

You must stand up after the 1st imam finishes witr and add one rakah to make it even and then pray normally with the 2nd imam.

QUESTION: Imam in my masjid prayed witr after taraweeh, but then AGAIN a different imam prayed witr after praying qayaam ul layl at the same night. Is this wrong? Praying 2 witrs? And I heard that after witr we shouldn’t pray anything for the day. So what’s the complete ruling on witr? For Ramadan and in general? For Ramadan, I’m praying tahajjud after praying witr. Am I wrong?
