If it’s your wife’s gold then it’s not permissible to give its zakat to her father

QUESTION: I’m married and well settled man. I give zakat on my wife’s (housewife /non-working) jewellery . My father-in-law is a daily wage earner, with no savings and has just a very old house , which he lives in ( and is falling apart ). My question is, can i give the zakat money to him?
