QUESTION: If someone wants to pray alone in a kafir country in a place where he cannot hear adhan and iqamah, is both of them mandatory?

ANSWER:

If adhan has already been given in any masjid in the city, regardless whether you heard it or not, you can pray without giving the adhan.

Giving iqamah is a highly recommended sunnah but its not mandatory.

QUESTION: I have a 4 month old baby. He wakes up every 2-2.5 hours at night to eat. So,sometimes it happens that I have only 10 to 15 minutes left for Fajr prayers.At that time, my child wants to eat too or he needs me to comfort him for getting back to sleep after morning feeding.What should I do in that case?Should I finish my prayer and let him cry or should I leave my prayer and attend my baby?
