If you are not praying with him, you can pray wherever you want but you must not cross the area in front of him so that you won’t break his prayer.

QUESTION: If my mehram male member is praying Salah in room without congregation. Is it prohibited for me to pray Infront of me or next to him? or must do I hv to pray behind him(with or without congregation? Does my or his prayer valid?
