The owner of the house or whoever represents him is the most worthy of leading the prayer, regardless of who the guests are or their ages or their memorization of the Quran.

QUESTION: If my friends come over at home (well, my dad’s home), is it the right of me or my brother to lead the prayer instead of them (only me and my friends, or maybe if their dads come too). Also, if one is a haafidh, can I/my brother(one of us has memorised more Quraan but not all) still lead the prayer/is that permissible
