If you didn’t remember while eating then the fast is valid, even if you ate a whole meal. 

QUESTION: If I fast and ate out of forgetfulness it’s ok, but what if I ate a lot?

QUESTION: I am 18. I want to fast on these days but my mother is not allowing me to fast since I have to study but I am sure I can manage both studies and at the same time time fast. I tried to convince her alot but she says not to fast since they are not farz and listen to her. should I listen to my mother in this matter ? if yes will i not miss the reward of these fasts
