ANSWER:

If you live in Jeddah or Makkah and want to perform umrah then you don’t require a mahram because it’s not a traveling distance 

However, if you live anywhere else, this is not permissible since Prophet ﷺ forbade this and said a woman who believes in Allah and the day of judgement must not travel without her male mahram 

QUESTION: If i am in saudi arabia travelling to Makkah but i don’t have a mahram can I still perform Umrah? How to go about it? I have a trusted person with me but he is not my mahram.
