If the doctor said showering is OK then you must take ghusl to uplift being in the state of major sexual impurity. You must wipe over the dressing and not wash it if you are unable to change it immediately but you don’t do tayammum when you can wipe over it.

QUESTION: I still have a surgical wound, which requires professional dressing every day/other day and can’t get wet But the doct told showering is ok if the dressing is done immediately after it Is ghusl wajib after intimacy? I don’t know if concession for tayammum can be applied here
