QUESTION: I heard that one must not change a child’s lineage and must bear the name of his/her father, I bear the name of my grandpa due to familial issues who is now dead, and on my birth certificate my mom became my sibling. What should I do about this? I am afraid that Allah (SWT) would punish my grandpa. Can I ask Allah (SWT) for forgiveness on his behalf?
